On Tuesday 16th June 2015, two apprentices from CIA competed in the Engineers of Tomorrow Challenge at IFSEC 2015.

Leo Draper and Jack Johnson competed as a team against other apprentices from all over the United Kingdom. The national competition offers young engineers the exclusive opportunity to show the industry what they’re made of.

The Engineers of Tomorrow Challenge tests the apprentices’ knowledge of regulations within the security industry and culminates in a 60 minute skills-based task. The task tests the apprentices’ ability to problem solve whilst under pressure.

Colin Harrison, Founder and Managing Director of CIA, said: “We are incredibly proud of our apprentices, Leo and Jack. They are very hard working individuals and they have proved they can work effectively in a high stress environment.”

Winners will be announced at IFSEC’s Security & Fire Excellence Awards 2015 which will take place on Wednesday 25th November 2015, Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London. In 2013 and 2014, CIA apprentices were awarded 2nd overall.
