Matthew Harrison – Operations Director

As Operations Director, Matthew is responsible for the day to day running of both CIA Fire & Security Ltd and Micro-Vision Fire & Security Ltd.

Matthew’s passion lies in driving the business forward and continuously improving the client experience. Through making use of new technology, Matthew has helped launch engineer IT programmes and help to develop bespoke security software. This is to ensure clients are kept informed and their expectations are exceeded.

Matthew has played an integral role in the growth of CIA. He has experienced every role within the business and understands every aspect. Due to his experience and understanding, Matthew is responsible for some of the company’s most prestigious clients. He has managed to develop great relationships with these clients through his hard work, determination and enthusiasm for providing the best service possible. By remaining as account manager to these clients, Matthew sets the standard for his team.

Apprenticeships are a key part of the CIA experience and the company is proud to say that several of the team’s senior figures originally started in this way. Matthew was the original engineer apprentice and due to years of successful engineering apprenticeships, the company has expanded its programme to include office based Business Administration Apprenticeships and Customer Service Apprenticeships.

The aim at CIA is to provide the client with one security systems provider at the highest possible standards. Matthew has been instrumental in bringing this to fruition. One of his first accomplishments in the management team was to gain NSI Fire Gold accreditation in 2006, the highest award in Fire Alarm Installation and Service. Later in 2009, under Matthew’s guidance, the Gate Automation Team was added to the companies list of services and shortly afterwards they gained CAME Gold Installer status, the premier award from the industry’s leading manufacturers.

Matthew is a member of Cirencester Round Table, a group of like-minded business professionals who work together to raise money for local charities.
